Words..oh words!

Words ...oh words,
Why do you fail me so?

Every time I need you,
You either are never around
Or come out the wrong way round!!

Words ...oh words,
Why do you leave me so?

When the page is empty
And ready to fill,
You run away
Such that my hands remain still!!

Words...oh words,
Why do you fail me so?

A listening ear is nearby
And silence is in the air
But we remain in despair!

Words ...oh words,
Why do you leave me so?

I pray today,
And I fervently hope you stay..
Do not fail me
Oh words....
I need you more than any other!!

  1. I am sorry to hear words fail you and words leave you. I think I have a guess. Again, I have known to be wrong at times. Often our reluctance to allow our true feelings to be expressed is the reason. This is due to our fear of being judged or hurt if someone does not validate our feelings.

I am sure your prayer will be answered and words will not fail you and not leave you.

  3. I can relate to it!

This seems like a poem I would have written about giving seminar presentations in class.
